Project background
CNFA is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates for an anticipated USAID Feed the Future Malawi Ag Diversification Activity. The activity contributes to USAID/Malawi's Feed the Future goal of sustainably reducing poverty and malnutrition in eight districts of Central and Southern Malawi. This activity fosters inclusive and sustainable growth in Malawi's agricultural sector, enhances resilience to climate change, empowers women, and improves the nutritional status of women and children, and at the same time increases the competitiveness of marketable, nutrient-rich value chains through support for agricultural enterprises and increased access to markets and finance. Ag Diversification is a central component of USAID/Malawi's integrated, multi-sector approach to improving Malawians' quality of life.

  • Director of Resilient Farming Systems

  • Director of Learning and Communications
  • Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor
  • Learning Advisor
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
  • Director of Innovation & Stimulation Grants Coordinators
  • Director of Finance and Operations
  • Finance Officer
Ideal Candidate
  • 7+ years' experience in rural agriculture and agribusiness is required; experience in private sector work is preferred;
  • Experience working on USAID funded projects is preferred;
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required; Master's degree is preferred;
  • Experience working in Malawi is highly preferred;
  • Malawian nationals strongly encouraged to apply;
  • Fluency in English required;
